Aspiring Leaders Program 2017-18

The Aspiring Leaders Program

Cohort 2 are now CLOSED

Applicants are expected to be informed in mid-April as to whether they have been successful in gaining a place in the Program.

The Aspiring Leaders Program is an opportunity for a select number of ACT School Leader B, School Leader C, and classroom teachers in leadership roles to be actively involved in a high-quality professional learning program delivered by the University of Melbourne’s Graduate School of Education.

The Program aims to enhance the contemporary understanding, skills, attributes and knowledge of leadership that contribute to student, school and system improvement.

Participants will undertake a series of workshops with eminent educational experts; conduct action research projects investigating a problem of practice within their school context; participate in personalised reflective learning; and be matched with an identified system leader within the ACT education system to form a mentor relationship.
