Today the achievements of secondary students across the ACT were recognised in the Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS) Recognition of Excellence Ceremony.
Students from government and non-government schools were acknowledged for their efforts in a range of award categories including community service, vocational studies, excellence in a specific subject area, overall academic achievement and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Awards.
Due to current health restrictions, this year’s BSSS Recognition of Excellence Ceremony was held virtually through a livestream, with live crosses to each school in the program as students were presented their awards.
The ceremony featured musical performances from secondary students and video presentations from as far as Fiji at the International School Suva, and China at the Shanghai Paddington Bilingual School.
