Preschool students enjoy their new playground
The preschool students at Campbell Primary have received a new playground to enjoy.
The playground equipment was jointly funded by Campbell Primary School’s P&C and the ACT Government as part of its commitment to ensuring that every public school has the infrastructure to support high-quality education. The ACT Government has invested more than $115 million to upgrade public schools right across the Territory since 2017.
President of Campbell Primary School’s P&C, Natasha says the P&C are proud to have contributed $20,000 towards upgrading the outdoor learning area.
The newly installed equipment was the final piece in the preschool’s overall upgrade to the play area. It’s designed to help the children navigate the play area in fun and safe way.
“The playground will provide better facilities for our young people and enhance their cognitive and physical education through play-based learning,” said Natasha.
The design of Campbell’s preschool playground had to facilitate play for a larger number of children as the preschool has accommodated an additional class in 2020 as the local area grows.
