Jamila Rizvi is an author, presenter and political commentator. She is the Editor-at-Large for the Nine Network's Future Women platform, a regular commentator on The Project, Today, The Drum and Q and A and an occasional host on ABC Melbourne Afternoons. Her best-selling book Not Just Lucky, a career manifesto for millennial women, was published by Penguin in June 2017 and long listed for the Australian Book Industry Awards in 2018. Jamila’s second book, an anthology of letters about the first three months of life with a newborn, called The Motherhood, was released in April 2017.

She worked in politics as an advisor to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's in 2008-2009 and then as youth policy adviser, press secretary and deputy chief of staff to Federal Minister Kate Ellis from 2009-2012. She was voted one of Cosmopolitan Magazine’s 30 Most Influential Women under 30 (2013), Australian National University Alumnus of the Year (2014) and one of Westpac's 100 Most Influential Australian Women (2014).
