ACT Education and Training Directorate Annual Report 2011-2012

Welcome to the Education and Training Directorate's Annual Report for the financial year 2011-12. To reach a wider audience two versions of the report are available on the web.

Portable Document Format (PDF) version

The original print version is available as a PDF. PDF is a technology developed by Adobe Systems. It allows print documents, such as this report, to be compressed into electronic files directly from the original documents. These files can then be viewed using Acrobat Reader, available free for download on the

HyperText Markup Language (HTML) version

The HTML version is considered the most user friendly, its format generally minimising download time. The HTML version uses the web browser to display web pages. Many documents referenced in the report are hyperlinked for the reader's convenience. One drawback is that scanned material (such as the Financial Report) is inserted as images and cannot be viewed in this version. Images are still accessible through the PDF version.
