Bargaining for New ACTPS Enterprise Agreements (Staff Other Than Teachers)

All ACTPS enterprise agreements expired on 30 June 2017 with the exception of the ACT Public Sector Education and Training Directorate (Teaching Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2014-2018, which expired in September 2018.

The ACT Public Sector Standards Commissioner notified on 16 November 2017 that the ACT Government is commencing bargaining for the new ACT Public Service (ACTPS) Enterprise Agreements.

Infrastructure Services

On Friday 16 November 2018, the Deputy Director-General Workforce Capability and Governance advised all staff that the proposed ACT Public Sector Infrastructure Services Enterprise Agreement 2018-2021 (Agreement) is available for consideration until the commencement of the voting period on 27 November 2018.

Administrative and Related Classifications

On Friday 19 October, the Deputy Director-General Workforce Capability and Governance advised all staff that the proposed ACT Public Sector Administrative and Related Classifications Enterprise Agreement 2018-2021 (Agreement) is available for consideration until the commencement of the voting period on Monday 12 November 2018.

ACTPS Staff will be updated on developments throughout the bargaining process through Whole of Government emails. During the bargaining process ACTPS staff and bargaining representatives will be able to direct their queries to the Government Negotiation Team at actpsea@act.gov.au.

Notice of Employee Representational Rights

Under the Fair Work Act 2009 the employer must provide you with a Notice of Representational Rights:

Staff who wish to appoint a bargaining representative should provide details of their appointed representative in writing including full contact details for the representative (name, contact number and email address), so that they can be informed of scheduled meetings and other relevant information.
