Free three-year-old preschool is now available to all Canberra families as part of the ACT Government’s new Three-year-old preschool program.

The Education Directorate has released its interim position on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in ACT public schools.

The strategy reaffirms our commitment to ensuring all children and young people, regardless of their circumstances, have access to high quality education on the same basis as their peers.

The new preschool to year 6 School and Early Childhood Education and Care Centre in Strathnairn, Ginninderry will now open in time for Term 1, 2026, instead of the original planned opening of Term 1, 2025.
