What are the traffic arrangements around the school?
Vehicular traffic entry/exit to the school will be from the new Albatross Crescent extension via a round-about.
A southern/western onsite loop road and two car parking areas will service the school and be available for community use out of hours. Bus bays are proposed along the new extension to Albatross Crescent. Four metre wide shared paths will connect the school to light rail and nearby path infrastructure. Signalised crossings are proposed at Kings Canyon and Albatross Crescent. The school build will include a bike enclosure to encourage active travel.
TCCS are working on supporting road infrastructure along Well Station Drive and a new Albatross Crescent extension that will service the school and future suburb of Kenny. This will be subject to a separate development application. Keep updated on the roads supporting the high school in Kenny at City Services.
What facilities will be available for the community to use?
Facilities available for community use outside of school hours include a double gymnasium with basketball, netball, futsal and volleyball markings, covered hard courts suitable for basketball and netball, and the oval can be used for soccer, rugby union and rugby league games. The multipurpose hall will also be available for community use.
