Kenny Koala Program
ACT Policing's Constable Kenny Koala program is designed to educate child care and primary-aged school children between three to 12 years of age on a range of safety themes, and to encourage them to turn to police for help and advice.
They visit schools, youth groups and local community events, to help bridge the gap between the community and the police. The program is aligned with the Australian curriculum to ensure consistency in messaging.
Constable Kenny teachers children about:
Road Safety; Protective Behaviours; Cyber Safety; Decision making and Consequences.
