Specialist curriculum

There are a small number of schools with special curricula that are open to all ACT students. Instead of a Priority Enrolment Area, these schools assess enrolment applications against specific criteria and subject to capacity being available. Where an applicant meets the criteria but is unable to be offered a place for capacity reasons, that applicant is guaranteed a place at their Priority Enrolment Area K-12 school. Where capacity has been reached at the preferred specialist school, the applicant will have the opportunity to be accommodated at another ACT specialist school.
