The 2018 CareersXpo is being held on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 August at Exhibition Park in Canberra.

What’s New

Students asking for career advice at the 2017 CareersXpo

  • This year we are inviting students to explore skills and jobs up to and beyond 2030.
  • As the 2018 CareersXpo falls in National Science Week, there will be even more exhibitors and activities related to science as well as technology, engineering and mathematics.

What’s on Offer

  • The Indigenous Employment Exhibition to raise awareness of career and education opportunities including support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in the ACT
  • WorldSkills Australia Try’aSkill exhibition where students can try their hand at skill and trade areas such as horticulture, hairdressing, photography, hospitality, beauty therapy, bricklaying, arboristry and building Students at CareersXpo
  • The Try’aSkill STEM Cell will feature interactive activities in the fields of engineering, cryptography, mathematics, VR, surveying, cyber security, forensic science, fitness, nursing and automotive robotics
  • Career guidance by qualified career practitioners
