Assessment and reporting during remote learning

23 Aug 2021

High quality assessment and reporting play an important role in every student’s learning journey.

We know that ongoing assessment helps students improve and know what their next steps in learning should be.

During remote learning, teachers will continue to assess students using a range of different strategies and tools.

This will be done in an age and stage appropriate way, and with awareness of the difficulty of the current circumstances.

Teachers will be reporting at the end of the semester.

Year 11 and 12

The ACT Scaling Test (AST) will not occur on 30 August and 1 September 2021 as originally planned.

The Board of Senior Secondary Studies has announced that the AST has been postponed until Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 October 2021.

All ACT senior secondary students will have the opportunity to receive the ACT Senior Secondary Certificate. Students working towards their ATAR will also have the opportunity to receive it for 2021.
