COVID-19 cases at Harrison School and UC SSC Lake Ginninderra

ACT Health has advised that Harrison School (primary and secondary campus) and UC SSC Lake Ginninderra (gym and canteen/cafeteria) have been identified as a COVID-19 exposure locations.

Harrison School

A COVID-19 case was on Harrison School grounds when they were unknowingly infectious at the following dates and times: Harrison School primary and secondary campuses Wednesday 11 August 2021 8.30am to 3.30pm and Thursday 12 August 2021 8.30am to 3.30pm.

Any staff, students or visitors who attended Harrison School at the times listed above are considered close contacts and are required to get tested in coming days and quarantine for a total of 14 days since they were last at an exposure location.

Household members of close contacts will also be required to quarantine as secondary contacts. Secondary contacts do not require testing, unless they have symptoms.

If you have dropped a student at the Harrison School and not entered the campus, we do not consider you to be a close contact exposure. You will be a Secondary contact and do not require testing unless you are symptomatic.

ACT Health has notified the Harrison School community directly of testing options for close contacts.

An online information session will be facilitated for the school community.

UC SSC Lake Ginninderra

A person with confirmed COVID-19 was on the UC SSC Lake Ginninderra school grounds while unknowingly infectious.

ACT Health have determined that the individual was present on the campus in the gymnasium and canteen/cafeteria area at the following dates and times: Monday 9 August 2021 10.00am to 1.30pm.

Any staff, students or visitors who attended the gymnasium or canteen/cafeteria area at UC SSC Lake Ginninderra at the times listed above, is required to follow the ACT Health directions for a close contact. This includes being required to quarantine immediately and get tested over the coming days.
