Olympics Unleashed visits more than 10,000 ACT students
The Olympics Unleashed program has passed a milestone, reaching more than 10,000 students across 59 ACT schools since launching in August 2019.
Olympics Unleashed, presented by Optus, sees Olympic athletes visit schools to inspire and motivate students, with the goal of helping them achieve their personal best - whether that’s in the classroom, the playground, the sporting field or at home.
Presented in an interactive and engaging way, the athletes share how they set goals, overcome challenges and demonstrate resilience throughout their athletic journey.
Despite COVID-19 and the postponement of the Tokyo Olympics, these school visits have continued to be delivered online via live 40-minute online presentations.
The athletes have even undertaken additional training in digital delivery methods to make sure they could provide the same high quality, engaging content that students enjoy.
The presentations are age appropriate, available for Primary Schools (Years 4-6) and High Schools (Year 9).
Registration is available now for schools to receive a presentation for Term 4. Visit the Olympics Unleashed website to learn more.
