Description: he grant will support a number of initiatives to facilitate collaboration with families; a survey of families in order to inform the design of a long-term, sustainable engagement strategy, fund a series of events to encourage parent engagement and acknowledge the impact of volunteers and training for P&C members to build business acumen.

Description: The grant will build connections and interaction opportunities through the conversion of an existing vacant outdoor space into a multi-purpose outdoor meeting place. The grant will fund the uplift of the vacant space and courtyard garden to strengthen the existing Stephanie Alexander Garden Program.

Description: The grant will support the translation of materials and signage to strengthen the communication and connection with the school’s culturally diverse families.

Description: The grant will support the inclusion of parents and carers through a technical upgrade to IT equipment to allow virtual P&C meetings to be held.

Project: Community Yarning Circle
Description: The grant will support the creation of a culturally and community inclusive ‘yarning circle’. An existing outdoor space will be transformed into a community based 'meet and greet' area to bring together children, families, staff and the wider school community to support children in their learning.

Description: The grant will support enhancing parent engagement connections and interactions through school events and a culturally inclusive and cookbook project.

Description: The grant will support engagement with the school community through cultural integrity events and learning sessions, upgrading the sustainable garden, developing and distributing a culturally inclusive family recipe and story book, reinvigorating the family hub, establishing a family buddy system and developing a series of short welcome and family engagement videos.

Description: The grant will support parent and community engagement through a technical upgrade to IT equipment. The technical upgrade will allow for virtual meetings and events to be live-streamed increasing the participation of parent and carers and their engagement in their child's learning journey.

Project: Strengthening Parent Engagement for Environmental Sustainability and Healthy Living
Description: The grant will support parent and community engagement through a healthy eating and sustainably living project. The project supports the transition of the canteen in its sustainable living and healthy eating journey including funding business acumen training for P&C members to ensure the canteen is financially viable.

Description: The grant will support the creation of a cultural integrity garden, providing a long-term sustainable learning, activity and engagement space to bring families, children, staff and the wider school community together to support children in their learning.

Description: The grant will support facilitating greater collaboration and strengthening family engagement through renewed connections. The project involves a survey of families in order to prioritise resources and design a more sustainable long- term engagement strategy. The grant will also fund a series of COVID-19 safe family engagement take-home projects that will allow families to re-connect to the school community.

Project: Six Degrees Seamless Pathways
Description: The grant will support stronger community connections and strengthening family engagement through the development of an interactive, dynamic webpage. The project will support the families and students with disability as well as fund the development and implementation of a social enterprise model for the Six Degrees Cafe Garden Gallery, uplifting business acumen to benefit the school community.

Project: Calwell Community Learning & Well-being Project
Description:. The grant will support strengthening family engagement through renewed connections. The project involves the development of both family support and student learning resources aimed at addressing wellbeing issues and supporting the learning journey of students through family connections. The grant will also fund family and community events allowing renewed opportunities to reconnect to the school community and gauge interest in the re-establishment of an active P&C association.

Project: Parent Engagement and P&C Sustainability at the Narrabundah College
Description: The grant will support enhancing parent engagement connections and interaction opportunities through a cultural integrity project (the Bundah Bliss Cookbook) as well as support the long-term sustainability of the P&C by engaging a business consultant to uplift business acumen and enterprise skills.

Description: The creation of a culturally inclusive ‘yarning corner’. The grant will support the refurbishment of an existing space to bring families, children and staff together to support children in their learning.

Project: Designing a Modernised Approach to Parental Engagement
Description: To develop a strategy for parent engagement designed for modern times in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The grant will support a research study into understanding the current challenges, barriers and opportunities to re-engage the school community in today’s climate and implement the strategy.

Project: Evatt Community Hub
Description: To create a multi-purpose community hub. The grant will support the refurbish of an existing space to bring families, children and staff together to create opportunities to increase volunteer participation, business acumen of the P&C association and to support children’s learning.

Project: Reaching our Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Parents and Community Members
Description: To enhance effective communication to families where English is an alternative language or dialect (EALD). The grant supports the production of resource material in a range of languages to cater for the diversity of the school community and make parent engagement culturally inclusive.

Description: To undertake the discovery and investigatory phase (Phase 1) of a parent engagement strategy. The grant will support events to connect parents and the school community and gauge expectations and potential interest in establishing a P&C association.
