Students in years 10 to 12 across ACT public schools have access to the two-day Pre-Learner Licence Course.
The course is more than just a training session for students to learn about the ACT road rules. It helps students learn how to be a safe, accountable and responsible members of the ACT road-user community. The course is facilitated by teachers, designed on world best-practice, learner driver education and is a key component of the ACT’s Graduated Licensing Scheme.
The Pre-Learner Licence Course has replaced the course previously known as Road Ready. It is the mandatory course for all ACT citizens to obtain a Learners Licence.
ACT public schools will advise their students when the course is run at their school through their communication channels.
