As part of Set up for Success: An Early Childhood Strategy for the ACT, the ACT Government has undertaken a process of co design with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, including children. This resulted in the development of a Koori Pre Cultural Safety Framework, Koori Pre Curriculum and resources that supports the evolution of Koori Preschool in the ACT.
These resources have been designed to meet the needs of community now and into the future, particularly around cultural safety and integrity and will be used to enhance engagement and decision-making in Koori Preschools.

Importantly, they translate what matters to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families into practice across our system.
